What material are the white peace doves made of?
The material is a white flocked plastic, similar to the Remembrance Day Poppy. The pin used to attach the White Peace Dove is exactly the same as the Remembrance Day Poppy. I want to Donate to the Campaign, but I need more clarity on where the money will be going. The White Dove Peace Association is currently in the process of developing a funding committee. Our hope is that this committee will include representatives from peace groups from across the country. Each year individuals or groups will be able to apply for money from the White Dove Peace Association. A list of the kind of groups the campaign could support can be found in our links section. This year, due to the costs of making the mold for the White Peace Doves, we are selling the bulk doves at cost and do not expect to raise a large quantity of funds.
