What market segment is PCI Geomatics looking at?
I think the segmentation of the market has been done by various vendors for their own good. We at PCI ,are trying to re-define the market by providing the customer through one PCI Geomatics interface, Remote Sensing, cartographic, photogrammetric and geoscientific problem solving tools. Besides this we have developed user specific solutions like Agroma a powerful wide area agricultural monitoring package designed specially to assist in analyzing agricultural production, suitability mapping, RADARSAT rice mapping and NDVI generation from NOAA AVHRR imagery. Similarly we have a product called CZ-IMS (Coastal Zone Integrated Management Tool), a turnkey geomatics tool providing near-real time decision support for coastal zone and disaster management. We have also recently launched the version 3.0 of ACE (Advanced Cartographic Environment) desktop mapping software.
