MetaPrint will send collated, and formatted plot jobs to virtually any device made by any manufacturer. Full support for roll-status, device-status, and other 2-way communication in modern plotters is supported. Ongoing automatic updates ensure that as new devices become available, MetaPrint will contain pre-configured profiles for each device. The level of support may vary on extremely old devices, or devices that are no longer supported by their original manufacturers but MetaPrint provides fine manipulation of communication parameters in such a way that just about any device can be driven with MetaPrint.
