What makeup looks good with blonde hair and brown eyes?
To compliment your eye and hair color, neutral colors will appear washed out and fade into your skin. Try shades of dark green, teal, eggplant and deep chocolate brown to bring out your features. First, prime the eye area with a matte foundation, allow it to dry and then use a trick I have been teaching for years! Take a neutral color such as light beige or tawny and sweep it under the eyesbrows and over the eye lids. Next, use a fine eyebrown brush and wet it. Dip it into eye shadow, yes shadow and run it over your eyelids as close to the lash line as you can get. This works wonders. If you want a deeper shade, you can use eyeliner over the shadow for a more dramatic look. Finish the look with a coat of mascara and your beauty will shine through!
There are two sets of colors that I find look absolutely amazing on deep brown eyes (like myself). They are a) deep dark purples and b) any greens/earthy tones. My favorite is deep purple, it really makes brown eyes pop! And purple really compliments a blonde hair color. A deep dark purple is also a great choice at doing a more subtle smokey eye depending on how you apply the shadow. I personally use an angled brush and just put the shadow close to my top lashes. Another suggestion would be for you to go to a M.A.C. store where they will do your make up for free. You can ask to try on different shades, but I would highly recommend my favorire M.A.C. shadow called “Sketch” in velvet. Here is their online picture of it: http://www.maccosmetics.ca/templates/pro… It looks even better on!
