What makeup is used to make Elphabas green face in the musical Wicked?
Makeup artist Joseph Dulude II first uses a mask of water based makeup on the face, neck and hands, called Chromacake (Mac’s brand of pancake makeup). Other colors are used on Elphaba’s face to enhance the green makeup, including white on the cheekbones and nose, purple haze on the eyes, a green lip pencil (stone) and its all topped off with a loose powder pigment called Golden Olive.
