What makes ZipMail for Gmail different of other ZIP utilities like WinZip and PKZip?
The key difference is that ZipMail is fully integrated to Gmail. When ZipMail is installed, Gmail attached files are, by default, compressed automatically and transparently, not requesting you to do any special action or to even think about the fact you have to compress your attached files. Same thing for the password protection / encryption of your attached files. ZipMail displays a password text box at the bottom of the Gmail attached file selection dialog. Simply enter your password here to secure your selected files. If you don’t need to secure your files, simply ignore this text box. ZipMail compression/decompression and encryption/ decryption features are available at the exact time you need them, not requesting you to even think about compressing/decompressing or encrypting/decrypting before you attach/detach your files to/from your Gmail messages.
