What makes you, Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco, different from other religious Sisters?
Different congregations of religious women follow the dream of their founder and dedicate themselves to minister to different sectors of God’s people. We, Salesian Sisters, focus on ministry to the young. Our spirituality is a ‘youthful spirituality’ since we ‘walk together with the young on the way to holiness. It gives rise to a unique atmosphere that we call the ‘family spirit’.Our method of education is based on the system of St. John Bosco, which uses the approach of reason, religion and loving kindness. We are ‘contemplatives in action’. By our way of life and service to the young we strive to live both the life of Martha and Mary.We are one congregation carrying out our ministry in ‘unity in diversity’. We come together from many different cultural backgrounds bound by a common vision of dedication to the young. Do you serve in mission places? Yes.
