Yab Design is headed by a visionary guy, Jakob Van Der Hulst, a Dutchman residing in the Philippines. Most of our designs begin as ideas in the deep recesses of Yaap’s mind and are then transferred to our pool of artistic talents – mostly local residents of Angono, known worldwide as the Art Capital of the Philippines. These experts transform the sometimes wild and out-of-this-world ideas into eye-popping 3D sculptures. Special finishes and painting techniques enable us to mimic a wide range of textures, from rippled and mossy dinosaur skin, to clothes and armor, and yes, even fur!
