What makes Volcano Phlox different?
Our bold new varieties actually began with the end of the Cold War, when Bartels Stek representatives were introduced to several old fashioned, highly disease tolerant Eastern European Phlox varieties. Through crossbreeding, they created the new Volcano series of fragrant, high flowering, multi-branching, compact Phlox, with high natural disease tolerance.
