What makes the Statim so fast?

The fact that we do not have to heat the entire round chamber with water and instruments greatly decreases the cycle time. The Statim is a steam injection unit. When the start button is pushed, the boiler will warm for approximately 20 seconds and will then call for water to be pumped in and instantly turned to steam. We then inject the steam into the cassette under pressure and starting from the front of the cassette to the rear, air is displaced by 100% saturated, non-turbulent steam. This is what makes Statims different from anyone else on the market. We do not get any hotter than a conventional machine; we just do the process quicker because of steam injection.
