What makes the Multimedia Design program stand out from similar programs at other universities?
Being based within a Design Faculty the emphasis is focused on Design and the recognition of the issues that design is addressing in the changing global environment. Design research and the integration with other design disciplines is emphasised within the Faculty. Flexibility The program offers flexibility with choices allowing you to tailor it to fit your needs and specializations. This is achieved through offering students greater depth or breadth in their chosen fields of study by a choice of Co-Major or Minors, either in the Faculty of Design or offered by other faculties. For example: students undertake 16 units in their Professional Major of Multimedia Design and have the option of completing an 8 unit Co-Major or two x 4 unit Minors in their chosen areas of interest e.g. Communication Design and/or Marketing.
