What makes the LuxIR different from other deep heating methods like Thermage or Titan?

Rather than using one large beam to deliver infrared light into the skin, the LuxIR uses “Fractional” approach: delivering an array of small beams. The infrared light is delivered using a large spot size, masked to create a regular array of precise beams that penetrate the skin deep into the dermis. This method creates a lattice of treated areas surrounded by largely untreated areas. This is a much safer method of treatment because the treated areas do not cause bulk damage of the surrounding tissue, and the untreated surrounding tissue provides a quicker remodeling process.
