What makes the Jitterbug phone different from other cellular phones?
The Jitterbug is a phone that DOESN’T have all the bells and whistles–no cool features like texting and camera or video or music playing ability. It’s geared toward older people who find the regular cellphones out there a bit confusing, like my step father does, and who might have impaired vision and hearing, so have difficulty using a standard cellphone. The Jitterbug has bigger, backlit buttons, and bright, large text. the powerful speaker sounds loud and clear. It’s a very basic phone, so it’s easier to use than those with a keyboard and all the fancy features. Plus they have “operators standing by” who can actually help you make a phone call or get directory assistance. You don’t get this from Verizon, believe me! http://www.jitterbug.
