What makes the floatplane floator a wheeled plane roll?
The first entry in a contact points string determines what it is. From experimentation and input from others, this is what has been concluded: Class 1 Wheel Class 2 Scrape Point Class 3 Ski Class 4 Float Looking at the string for point.0: point.0= 1, -16.80, 0.00, -3.35, 3200, 0, 0.40,180.0, 0.30, 2.5, 0.90, 3.0, 3.0, 0, 0, 235 The first entry (in red) is the Class of the landing gear. This is the entry you need to change to create a float contact point. I can only assume that this system was adopted as a sort-of beta-test for the upcoming version of M$ Flight Simulator, just as CFS1 pioneered a few things that appeared later in FS2000.
