What makes the color variation in solid wood?

0

Natural color differences in wood are caused by variation in minerals found in the soil in which the tree has grown, and will differ by tree and parts of the tree. This natural occurrence results in the beautiful variation in grain and color throughout our furniture and does not qualify as defect. Solid wood can also vary in color under influence of UV rays and humidity.
