The Annual Quilters Day Quilt Show was originally conceived, and continues to be, a purely social event put on by area Quilters for area Quilters. The Show could possibly be more comparable to a quilt airing than to a full-blown quilt show, in that there are no retail activities taking part on the grounds during the show. There are no retail booths where quilting items, fabric, and other quilting supplies are sold. There is no judging of the show items for prizes or awards.
