What makes Stevens Hope different from other organizations?

0

Our programs generally provide for families AFTER the child has been discharged from the hospital and is receiving “outpatient” treatment. Other well-known national organizations located near hospitals do fantastic work and offer similar services. However, they are designed for the family while the child is IN the hospital. Our signature program, Housing for Hope, may provide the family with a fully furnished residence and all the necessities. We try to be the place families go as they transition from the hospital to home. As an example, a heart transplant patient may be discharged from the hospital as soon as 3 weeks after the surgery, but would be required to stay within 20 minutes of the hospital for up to 6 months.
