Ordinary lubricant eye drops simply provide moisture which can evaporate quickly from the surface of the eye. SootheXP is an emollient (lubricant) that restores more of the tear film, meaning it adds moisture and has oils that help restore the outer layer of the tear film. By restoring this outer “lipid” layer, you can minimize evaporation and seal moisture in longer, for relief of dry eye symptoms for up to 8 hours.
