What makes people left or right handed?
In my childhood in the 1940s a left handed child was the spawn of the Devil with the number 666 branded upon his scull. At least so it seemed to me back then. I can remember a friend of mine when I was about four or five being forced to write with his right hand and the months of frustration which this caused and him falling behind everyone else as a result. Okay, so this does not answer your question, but it does show how not to deal with left handed folk, especially children. Being left or right handed has something to do with which side of the brain is the more powerful – something like that I think. Just add this to the list of brain things. The male brain switches over to sex mode about every 20 seconds. A mate of mine lay dying in hospital in his 84th a few years ago. I went to see him the day before he went to join his fallen comrades of WW2.
