What Makes Ouray Hot Springs Pool and Park a Great Place?
There is a walkway around the park which connects to sidewalks that lead into downtown Ouray at southeast end of the park. The park and hot springs pool are clearly visible from Highway US-550. It is easy to walk to from downtown Ouray and from most of the hotels in Ouray. The whole place is beautiful. There is no litter and it is very clean. Both the park and the pool are well maintained. The center is located at the base of mountains. You will find a spectacular view looking up to mountains from everywhere in this place. The main activities are swimming and soaking in the hot springs pool. All parts of the recreation center area and pool seem to be used. The hot springs pool is used both by locals and tourists.
