nPower® is a frequency-driven technology utilizing direct power takeoff, and it is easily scaled up or down in size to meet the desired results. Other WECs use an intermediary process (such as hydraulic fluid and a generator) to generate electricity. In addition, nPower® WECs will work in the Great Lakes AND oceans where other WECs require the large waves from the oceans.
