Since 1980 the Crimson Tide have a record of 208 – 106 while the Auburn Tigers have had a 213 – 92 record. In addition to that the LSU Tigers have taken over the SEC West and the Arkansas Razorbacks are looking good too. The Alabama Crimson Tide need a change and earlier this month they took the first big step. The Crimson Tide went 10 – 2 in 2005 and the Alabama fans had a lot to look forward to. That hope became disappointment in the 2006 season. Oklahoma State’s Jason Ricks made a field goal with 8.9 seconds to end the Crimson Tide’s season, a 31 – 34 loss to Oklahoma State in the Independence Bowl. The loss dropped the Crimson Tide to 6 – 7 on the year. To be fair Alabama did play an incredibly hard schedule including games against Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, LSU and Auburn.
