What makes KICKBOXING FOR HEALTHTM better than “Aerobic Boxing/Kickboxing”, “Cardio Kickboxing” and “Tae Bo” type programs I see everywhere?
A3: KICKBOXING FOR HEALTHTM is an “Anaerobic” based program. Resistance training by “gloving up” and working on targets and instruction in actual Kick Boxing, Boxing, and Defensive techniques gives the practitioner a total body workout. Many of the “Aerobic”, “Cardio” and “Tae Bo” type programs you have seen in gyms and martial arts schools are not the primary activity of the facility, but a “Hook” to attract new members and take advantage of it’s growing popularity. Unfortunately, some instructors have little or no background or specialized training for this type of program. KICKBOXING FOR HEALTHTM Instructors and assistants are personally trained by Mr. Steve Kerstetter and certified in the Kickboxing for HealthTM program. They work with each member to insure that proper techniques are learned and used, thereby avoiding injury and the “lost” or “unable to keep up” feeling.
