What makes “kerrang” and “NME” successful magazines?
NME became successful again (as it has had many slumps over the years, when it has dropped sales) by turning into Smash Hits for indie kids. And both are benefiting from an upsurge in popularity for guitar driven music, although I don’t think that either can actually take credit for this… They were just in the right place at the right time…
