What makes Indian-immigrant an entrepreneur?
touchy subject for many. I believe it is true in part due to a more tightly connected ethnic base. I find Indian American residents very tight community-wise. I have one friend who is “an Indian entrepreneur”, some who is inexperienced and never had any real Management experience, who told me his well heeled Indian friends said he should run a company and they would back it. So, in this case it is a ethnic connection. Sometimes if you see make up of teams, they follow similar patterns. Even a willingness to view your plan, gets priority, if you are Indian heritage or a surname sounding such. This is a factor in part. The other is many of India’s brightest and best have come to US to succeed, and they have in all fields. This is not a new phenomana and has been going on for many years.
