What makes IAB qualifications special?
The IAB is unique in that it is both a professional body for book-keepers and it is an awarding body recognised and regulated by the relevant government authorities in England (QCA, Wales (ACCAC) and Northern Ireland (CCEA). Most of the IAB qualifications are accredited by these authorities, therefore candidates in these countries have that additional assurance of quality that accreditation brings. Additionally, courses and examinations leading to IAB qualifications take place in many countries outside of the United Kingdom and where relevant are subject to local regulation.
