A1: Simplicity, affordability, security, power, and total integration to our back office software solution are the things that make i.STAR unique. Everything is accomplished from your back office Retail STAR system. All data that is displayed on the i.STAR web storefront is entered in the Retail STAR back office system and stored in the Retail STAR database. This information is then automatically communicated (replicated) to the web server with our StarComm communications software. There is never any reason to go to the web to maintain your E-Commerce site. When your customer places an order on the i.STAR web store, they are automatically saved on the web server in the Retail STAR database (SQLBase SafeGarde from Centura Software) and then communicated back to the central Retail STAR system, again through StarComm.
