Finally come and fly our four foot high hot air balloons before taking part in the ultimate helium balloon race! Key Activities: Presentation: Completely interactive! Slides, video and models are all used to get the journey of discovery off the ground. Balloon Launching: We`re bringing in our four foot high model hot air balloons and large helium balloons, the children are going to fill them and fly them in teams, putting theory into practice, it`s a real “WOW” for the children and serious fun. Helium Balloon Racing: The session culminates in an outdoor helium balloon race weather permitting. Everyone is given a helium balloon with a ticket to record their name and details, as tickets are returned in the following weeks the class record distances and directions travelled.
