Hope High School has undergone a transformation since 2005- changing building culture completely to create a supportive, engaged environment where students can and do succeed. Here’s a few things that make us different: Hope and Classical are the only Providence High Schools that are accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In 2008, Hope students posted the largest gains in NECAP test reading scores in the district and the state, along with other gains in math and science. The extra time Hope teachers spent helping students prepare for this test was made possible by the block schedule. Hope has developed and aligned our curriculum to reflect RI State Grade Span Expectations in ALL subject areas and offers proof of this by requiring proficient student portfolios for graduation.
