Education: We believe that our families are best equipped to make decisions regarding the kind of child or children best suited to join their family. Our families go through an extensive program of education where they learn the specific challenges faced by children from troubled backgrounds. By learning what to expect, what methods work best to remediate their issues from early childhood, and by taking a good look at their own strengths and weaknesses, families are able to make good choices for themselves and the child they adopt. Support: Many of our staff members are adoptive parents themselves and can understand the concerns and questions voiced by families. Once the adoption takes place, post-placement services help strengthen the placement and support the family throughout the adjustment period.
