What makes EnviroleenTM a fuel catalyst?
Unlike most fuel additives, a fuel catalyst reacts with fuel in several ways. First, EnviroleenTM reconfigures the carbon chains to more consistent lengths and shapes, essentially raising the octane rating. EnviroleenTM also lowers the surface tension of the fuel, so when the fuel is sprayed into the engine’s cylinder it forms into tiny droplets that ignite fully and burn completely. This complete combustion means there is no residue of unburned fuel on the inside of the combustion chamber left to char. (This burnt residue creates harmful exhaust and dirties the engine.) EnviroleenTM also lubricates wear metals and combustion surfaces, extending engine life. Finally, EnviroleenTM combats damage to the fuel, lowering pour point (anti-gel to -18) and remover water and algae from tanks.
