What makes Earthbound special?
As an EarthBound fan, I can tell you that the game itself is very special to me. For me, EarthBound is all about nostalgia. As a kid, I saw it on the shelves of our local Blockbuster Video and had to rent it. So, my mom did. When we returned it, I was so upset about it because I loved playing it so much that a few days later I spent the rest of my allowance on the EarthBound bundle released by Nintendo. I still own my original cartridge, and for the most part, it is still in working order. I play the game four or five times a year, and I know how to beat it by heart. The game is a bit glitchy from years of storage, being moved around and being blown on to get my third Super Nintendo console to play it.
