Dr. Freeman has specialized in cosmetic surgery of the face and neck since 1988. He specialized in surgery of the head and neck during his residency at the University of Miami. He received a Fellowship in plastic surgery, specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck, at Washington University-one of the country’s premier programs. He has passed the board examinations for both his residency and his specialty in plastic surgery of the face and neck. Dr. Freeman is one of only a few plastic surgeons in the Carolinas who is board-certified and fellowship-trained, and who specializes in plastic surgery of the face and neck. In addition, Dr. Freeman has been an innovative leader within his field, developing new procedures, writing numerous articles and book chapters, and lecturing frequently within the United States and abroad.
