What makes block painting so different?

0

Using block painting (or design presses as they are sometimes referred to) is a very unique way of decorating your home. Unlike stencils or wallpaper border, there are no restrictions or limitations with the application. Stenciled walls have a much more formal look to them because the stencils themselves are applied in a repetitive fashion. With block painting, there are no rules for applying the designs. The designs lend themselves well to change and experimentation. You can choose to combine multiple designs in the same room. Some designs, such as a grouping of fall leaves in shades of browns, reds and oranges would not work well in a light, airy garden room. Other than that, your choices are limitless.
