What Makes Balsamic Dressing Special?
Since experiencing balsamic vinegar approximately 15 years ago, I can safely say I adore the flavor it provides in dishes and dressings. It’s unmistakable tang and punch given to the foods it garnishes and makes run-of-the-mill vinegar take a back seat. Sure, it’s not meant as a trade-off for every vinegar use, but it’s a good thing when it fits the dish. This vinaigrette from Kraft doesn’t overwhelm a salad, rather enhancing the ingredients you choose to use in that salad, dressing them lightly, bringing out flavors in both the vegetables and in the dressing itself. This balsamic mix can’t compare to standard Italian dressings, as it’s not a standard Italian dressing itself. It’s a step above it, on a different plain, if you will.
