What makes BALINALE different than other film festivals?
In addition to presenting quality films, BALINALE offers free student workshops to aspiring young filmmakers throughout the year. We give local filmmakers an opportunity to present their work and network with international industry professionals. And the festival invites foreign filmmakers to screen their films to an enthusiastic and potentially huge Indonesian market. We also provide them an opportunity to explore Indonesia for possible film projects.
