Im sorry that your child (and you!) have to go through this its very stressful. But there are a ton of things that can portray a person as unfit and a lot of the times they aren’t even bad its just the way your or his lawyer is going to spin it. But a few are doing drugs,being an alcoholic,having a very time consuming job (not enough time for the kid), not having a job or way to support the kid, not having a safe environment for the child to live in, having or having had anger management issues, having a criminal record, and sometimes even having a relationship with someone who isn’t appropriate for the child to be around. Just to let you know they will be digging in your past for ANYTHING that may seem bad and they will just spin it anyway they want to make you look bad. good luck,hope this helped!!
