What’s wrong with him reading? Maybe that’s what makes your 11 year old boy happy. Instead of forcing things onto him that he hasn’t shown an interest in, encourage the interests he already has. Show him new books that you think he’ll like, sit down and talk to him about the books he’s reading, try reading some of the same ones and see if you like them as well. Not every eleven year old boy likes the same things. Just be happy he’s not on the streets doing drugs and intimidating elderly people.
