What makes alyssa milano better than shannen doherty in the late TV series Charmed?
I think a few things contribute to me liking Alyssa better than Shannen. 1) Shannen had been living with a bad rep as a beeotch to work with and hadn’t worked on a regular series since her original stint on 90210 then she went through a Britney Spears period in the tabloids. Alyssa was sort of like the ‘good girl’ in comparison. She grew on on a television show from little girl to college aged and every viewer who watched it loved her and felt like they knew her personally. She never really screwed up her ‘tv’ image with drama. (Even when Shannon left the show it was with similar beeotch rumors) 2) Alyssa’s character was more free spirited (Phoebe) on the show than Shannen’s older (Prue) character. In fact Prue was written to be the responsible one and kind of a stick in the mud and very stern and careful.
