What makes a swiffer wet jet different?
A swiffer mop doesn’t need a bucket of water to clean the surface so is suitable for use on most floors. It delivers a jet of cleaning fluid which you then mop up leaving a shiny floor behind you. You would think it was easy to find the right floor cleaner but it isn’t. There an incredible number of different floor cleaners on the market making shopping confusing. But this is not the only issue. The other problem is the variety of different flooring materials. Hardwood or laminate floors cannot be cleaned using abrasive cleaners. Water is not great for either form of floor as it can cause the underlying wood to warp. Most hardwood and bamboo flooring providers will advise you not to let liquids pool on the floor or you risk causing damage.
