Smith’s School of English franchisees are coaches of communicative confidence to nonnative speakers of English. The majority of our students are “false beginners.” Which means that they have undertaken grammatical studies of between three and six years. They may have even continued their studies at university. They are usually able to read and write quite competently; however they have little or no verbal skills in English. Our mission, in a nutshell, is to take their original base of knowledge and coach out their verbal communication skills. There are two main facets of the job as a franchisee: • Attract and place new students into the system. • Minimize attrition rates by providing a professional, supportive environment for the students to learn.
