What makes a shoot a full-day versus a half-day?
This refers to the length of time you have the crew and indicates their rate for the day. A full-day is typically 10 hours portal-to-portal, meaning from the moment the crew leaves their facility, to the moment they return to their facility, they are on the clock. A half-day for a crew is typically 5 hours portal-to-portal. A half-day shoot, when available, is typically about two-thirds the cost of a full-day shoot.
