What makes a screwed together fence panel such a piece of junk?
A typical screwed fence panel has more than 45 screws screwed into one side of the fence to hold the pickets in place. Therefore one side of your fence looks like a broken airplane wing. Over a short period of time the paint on those screw peels off adding to its peutrid look. Over that same period these tiny screws will loosen turning this one time fence into a glorified wind chime. Some companies will even try to cover up the screws “putting lipstick on a pig” trying to fool customers into thinking the screws aren’t really there. Screwing together fence is a practice develped over 70 years ago when newer processes like Swedging were not available. There is no reason to buy a black and white tube T.V. when you can get a color flat screen for the same price!!!
