What makes a Low Speed Vehicle, a LSV, “street legal”?
Federal regulations specify requirements for low speed vehicles. A low speed vehicle is a 4-wheeledmotor vehicle, whose attainable speed is more than 32 km/h (20 mph) and not more than 40 km/h(25 mph). Low speed vehicles must be driven by a licensed driver.
