What makes a LINCS proposal competitive?
With few exceptions, LINCS projects focus on local or regional stories and perspectives that in some way speak to national interests. We believe that universal themes can be revealed in individual stories and that local perspectives are essential to understanding larger national issues and concerns. The most competitive projects demonstrate the potential to reach a national audience, as well as a local one. Projects that address an underserved audience also tend to be more competitive.
