What makes a computer game appealing to girls?
Please don’t think of it like that. That kind of question led to Barbie having a pink computer, car and camper. I hate that stuff someone thought would be “appealing to girls” has some form of pink, purple, sparkly, ponies or other old stereotype. Pink Legos ‘for girls’… Do not want! Don’t laugh – I’ve seen them. They are hideous. When I started gaming I liked most of the games that the guys liked. When more choices were available, I preferred games where you could make your player character female (when there was an option for it). But not treat her much differently than you would a male character. I played all the Tomb Raider games because the main character was female, even though she was like a cross between Daisy Duke and Indiana Jones. I stopped playing them after the last one I played had truly annoying game mechanics and a game camera that was awful.
