What make up Volcano?
Within a Volcano, regardless of type, there are a few common features that play a large role with the development of an eruption. A Magma chamber acts as a reservoir for the molten rock material, magma. A Pipe is the passageway within the volcano that allows the magma the magma to rise to the surface during an eruption. A Vent is an opening at the earth’s surface. A Crater is the bowl shaped depression at the top of the volcano where the volcanic materials such as ash and lava are released.
