What maintenance is required for the Stormbloc® system?

0

A. The patented design of the block incorporates an access tunnel, which provides access to the system for inspection and maintenance. Entry to these tunnels can be gained through the inlet pipes. Periodic inspection of the system should be made and the tunnels should then be jetted if necessary. We would suggest that a catch pit be installed upstream of the system to prevent large objects from entering the blocks. Ideally, a Downstream Defender® hydrodynamic separator is also used upstream of the system in order to remove the majority of grits and silts before they enter the system, thus providing an even greater buffer to any problems occurring.
