What maintenance is involved in a Vanderburgh Humidor?
Vanderburgh Humidors are pre-finished and require very minimal maintenance. If the humidor requires dusting, you may use a soft, damp cloth to wipe it down. Be sure that the cloth is not too damp as to leave wetness onto the humidor. Murphy’s Oil Soap is a great liquid to use. Follow the instructions on the manufacturer’s bottle. DO NOT use any waxes or cleaning solutions on the inside of your humidor on the Spanish Cedar. This will impregnate your cigars with a nasty scent and taste.
