What maintenance does a Trihal transformer require?
Maintenance instructions are given in the installation and maintenance handbook provided with each Trihal transformer. In normal operating and environmental conditions, it is sufficient to carry out an annual check that all connections and off-circuit tapping links are properly tightened. At the same time, any dust should be removed from the transformer (using a vacuum cleaner or by blowing either dry compressed air or nitrogen into less accessible places). The frequency of dust removal will depend on the specific operating environment. Where dust gathers quickly, it should be removed more often than once a year. If necessary, the transformer cooling air should be filtered.
